In anticipation for additional prototype of federated forges to run for extended periods of time, I bought a new libvirt hypervisor and installed it with https://enough.community. It does not have a public IP yet. It is an Intel NUC i7, 64GB RAM, 1TB nvme with a 8TB + 4TB USB disks attached to it. The invoice is attached here in case someone is curious about the specifics and the accounting spreadsheet was updated accordingly.
I have absolutely no idea how this new hardware will actually be used 
Only there is no doubt in my mind that it will be needed at some point this year.
