Today it occurred to me that there is a fundamental contradiction for a federated software (such as forgefriends) to be represented by a centralized organization. Which forgefriends is not because it is a horizontal collective. But the reason for forgefriends to be a horizontal collective had nothing to do about being in line with what federated services stand for. It is a lucky coincidence. Or maybe it isn’t?
