Am I wrong in thinking that this is a pipeline for projects to be exposed to private investors and would then be incentivized to monetize the project in the traditional tech 5 years exit?
Maybe getting funding in the early stages wouldn’t be that bad but depending on what strings are attached to that funding I’d honestly be a bit weary I think.

Right. This seems to be a competitive process where participants are eliminated after each round.
I don’t feel comfortable competing against other projects but maybe other people are into this.
