## Repository announcements

Git repositories are hosted in Git-enabled servers, but their existence can be announced using Nostr events, as well as their willingness to receive patches, bug reports and comments in general.

There is a Go implementation that forgefriends could use GitHub - nbd-wtf/go-nostr: Nostr library for Golang. I also started a discussion in Forgejo about nostr.

How coupled is it to cryptocurrency? The community is “bitcoiners” but how much it influences nostr itself is unclear to me.
