LDAP… I think that nowadays in self-hosting at-home and in small organisations, it’s become really indispensable to manage user accounts centrally. Lack of LDAP/SSO is a bottleneck to user adoption of many otherwise great free software services. One of the best things about Yunohost is it encourages “apps” to use its LDAP-based auth. If I had money or influence on the FOSS scene, then SSO is one of the top five things I’d want to encourage all projects to adopt.
I feel like this is something we should look after in different forges.
