The program has published a diversity cookbook. The program mailing list is discontinued.
My understanding is that it is a fiscal sponsor for scientific software and fedeproxy is not in their scope. However… they provide infrastructure and may be interested in the fact that fedeproxy builds bridges between forges that the projects they care about use. However, although they announce an effort towards diversity (and their people page suggests it actually has an effect) they do not provide diversity related services.
- 10/15% tax on donations to their projects (minority)
- grants & funding from corporations (majority)
A podcast from their executive director explains what they do but again, there is no focus on diversity.
