In Forgejo the access to exclusive resources is not just given to anyone asking for it. Over the past two years, when trolls and toxic persons attempted to disrupt the project, it has been an effective and simple mechanism. When someone wants access to an exclusive resource, they ask for it and a governance decision grants them this access. It is rare enough that the associated bureaucracy is not out of proportion.

@limiting-factor you could apply to get access to the F3 organization. You were already given access but that would document that. Since the migration of the resources to the Forgejo hardware infrastructure a few months ago, the governance documentation needs updating.

I’ll revisit them and edit to remove the obsolete parts and add what is new.
