@gracinet after many detours, errors and delays, I’m hopeful I’ll have time to do something concrete for GitLab federation in the months to come :smile:

I appreciate the vote of confidence :heart: There is a potential diplomatic complication: since Heptapod is a friendly fork of GitLab, would it be a problem for it to include federated features? That would essentially bypass anti-features of the Free Software version, such as mirroring git in both directions. The last thing I want is to create problems for Heptapod, which is a great project.
